Sloan, reporting in from miserable Washington. I'm here visiting my good friend Chad who's about to "Rape" the skateboarding world. Not much on the agenda today though, but I thought I would share this picture with you. Could be fake, but it's beautiful nevertheless, and I think it's important to still see beauty in a corrupt place... Like Iraq.

We along with the community members of Elderflower Forums are pretty pissed that webs had revoked our rights to link Youtube videos to our site. As usual we asked our own rendition of Nedermier to cut some corners and upload this wonderful concert footage for us. Actually, it's a tribute to the lovely Sloan, who just celebrated her 18th birthday by getting the generic FF tattoo on her neck. It's so original that I think I may have to go and get one myself in a few months. :lol:No, strike that. I will definately get the Foo tramp-stamp sometime in June. Sloan, this old song is for you.

Don't you feel like a super-flexible peep candy right now? or are you spending the eveing sober? ...either way, it feel good to be back. On a side note, I spent last night watching a movie about the life of Mozart and Antonio Salieri as composers in Vienna. I was suprised by the exceptional beauty in the cinematography and prose; I couldn't help but pass it around the office. If you havn't seen Amadeus (1984), I am devout in recommending this charming rendition.

Don't you love it when you're in an utterly mundane place? Like a lighting store or some poverty ridden snack house and then BAM, great song starts playing. You just start dancing like Russel H. in his Golden God phase; just beating out the tunes in your head. Sometimes it's a really slow, pretty song though and that brings me to my point. "Walking After You" by my much-loved uber-grunge band, Foo Fighters, started playing while I was browsing for Velvet Ottomans in Furniture One yesterday. I reappreciated it while I curled up on one of the display beds, stroking the ornate store pillows. You need Adobe Flash Player to view this content.

Hey babettés. This is an ode to the other site admins, Sloan and Maddy. I imagine there will be several homages to bands like the Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Cold Play and that other entry-level outfit... what are they called again? Nickelcrack. So I thought i'd kick off the party with one of my own favorites. Hope you like it, don't GAD if you don't. You need Adobe Flash Player to view this content.

This film; what a superfluous trip into the mystic influx of the American Dream; circa 1965 to late 1970s, that is. Rotten Tomatoes was not a fan, but they're a bunch of leather-clad basement junkies who fear the sunlight and know nothing of The Crunch. I found this movie to be inspiring, much so, I went on to paint a picture the following day; titled Fear and Loathing/Gypsy Country. Because the ideology is so pure and lovely.

Day-time television has certainly changed since I was a kid... A mucid Saturday, I rolled out of bed and flicked on the tv. Expecting to see, I don't know, an infomercial or some Jesus-praising program that they show in the early morning. But no, not this morning. What I later found was an entirely ordinary movie... at the time seemed like the weirdest thing. No, it's not your vast imagination. That is Gene Wilder in bed with a sheep, after some hardcore, steamy love session. For those of you who can't place him; it's that whimsical fellow from the original Willy Wonka movie... I know, my childhood was raped to
